Stories shaped me. I was particularly fascinated with origin stories because they left much to the imagination. I reflected on how stories shape our individual and communal identities. How they shape our concepts of home and belonging, or the lack thereof.

Later, I began to wonder what happens when the stories we tell about ourselves no longer have traction or resonance. What happens to the ego when its stories cannot be spoken or heard? What if the stories you've built and motivated yourself by dissolve or are no longer relevant? Who are you then? I believe to seek the answers to such questions requires courage, humility, and work (a sense of humor helps too!).

While on a determined, psychospiritual journey to discover the truth of Being and contentment, I met my partner. He is an engineer, leadership consultant, and entrepreneur whose passion is to model and reverse engineer human behavior. Hoopoe Tree's Holistic and Integrative Methodology is the product of a quest to be grounded as we rise to our higher selves and serve others in pursuing the same.
